Disk Encryption, Will it protect you from border guards??

This question has been in my head for a while now. If you use a disk encryption product either to encrypt a partition or the whole hard drive would you be able to not give the pass phrase to a border guard or immigration. Well a new story in the states is starting to look like it will answer my question.

OK I always chickened out of creating a key in Linux as it is so easy in windows using PuTTYgen. But one day I decided to find out exactly how to do it in Linux and “Oh My God” it is even easier. I mean really simple. So simple that I was shocked and thought I had to of got this wrong.

Hey, if there was no security industry myself and a lot of my friends will be out of work.
